KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Work with internal stakeholders including TD lead, regional TD crop lead and country crop team to develop, design trial planning and provide data summarization for peppers in suitable market areas.
-Provides technical leadership and insights to Product Management, Sales, Marketing and other organizations. Analyze field data, develop and communicate technical information and product performance data for use by commercial team and customers.
-Develop product concept, trial protocols, product tech sheets and pricing proposal, portfolio management for new pepper products.
-Manage product portfolio and ensures proper stewardship of our new and existing products for peppers.
-Identifies and assesses new technology based business opportunities.
-Work with area managers and cross-functional teams to drive and support strategic projects.
-Provide product trainings, technical services and sales supports for customers and markets.
Provide technical support for complaint management.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
-M.S. or Ph.D. with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Biology or a related field.
-Strong field agronomic background and experience conducting field agronomic research is desirable. Vegetables experience and working knowledge of crop protection will be a plus.
-Effectively interpret and communicate complex technical information and influence diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
-Good planning, organization, communication, leadership and team-building skills; ability to collaborate across multi-functional groups and geographies.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PPT, spread sheet and pivot table use; Familiar with ARM and data analysis management tools.
-Creativity and innovation skills are desirable for designing TD field programs and for developing communication materials to enhance understanding of highly technical information.
-Self-motivated,team oriented, analytical and result-oriented.
-Successfully work in a fast-paced changing environment
